August 18th 19th 2007 I am of the opinion that if someone wanted to course a pekinese so be it as long as they want to have a bit of fun,It shows what sort of speed agility and grace a lurcher must have . we have a coursing tournament on the sat for family pets non sighthound with a trophy, and then a pedigree tournament, then the real deal is on the Sunday 32 dog lurcher stake. Last year we also at the end of the racing ran the fastest lurcher against a honda 400cc racing quad over 100metres guess what won hang on this could be another thread. JUST LIKE SOME OF THE LURCHERS YOU SEE AT SHOWS Your right tommo these would have shown some of them up gutsy full of work loved it Quote Link to post
