I have never been ferreting and do not know anything about it.

Earlier someone mentioned that they will soon stop ferreting and I got the impression that it was because the rabbits had started breeding.

Can someone explain a bit more?

Is there a ferreting season?

The ferreting season is generally regarded as any month having a "R" in it ,as it used to be frosty and the rabbits wouldn't breed .But they seem to breed all year round now and if your doing Pest Control as opposed to ferreting you have to continue and unfortunately kill a few pregnant doe rabbits or else we would be over run with rabbits and the amount of money they cost in damage to agriculture is already in hundreds of millions
