JR Yipp 111
because i wouldnt keep a dog that lies. as for any huntsman who knows his stuff, id rather go for the persevering ones who know that there is NO way to predict scenting conditions than ones that makes excuses for this and excuses for that. either way a huntsman opinion on a fox in hole and scenting with hounds is completely different to terrier work. JR Yipp 111
a fox in a hole im guessing the scent is or should be more concentrated and direct. its just diffrent. thankfuly ive nvere had to think about it because it just shouldnt happen. and all foxes will give off scent (some alot more than others), its all the other reason that they cant be hunted.
