how to put FAC AIR on application

i am just trying to write down on my application for a FAC air how do you do this?

 

e.g do you need to put down in calibre .177 or.22 then in type put Fac air rifle

or should you just write FAC AIR in the type

You need to put the calibre in and FAC air rifle in type. Worked for me anyway.

Generally the firearms folk are pretty helpfull so long as its there somewhere you will be OK. Dont forget to put down a moderator as a seperate firearm. Ask for one even if you dont want one, they never refuse as far as I know.

You will need HMR as well, some numb nuts at your licensing may think you mean a .177 air rifle, but there are also .17 Centrefires, all very different animals to the HMR.

make sure you ask for an extra moderator mate i have just got my fac back i got 22 rimfire and 22 air rifle fac with sound moderator it came back fine

cheers for that what did you say you wanted the fac air for? i mainly want it for around outbuildings, stables etc
