zini 1,939
Yes mate my advice is don't do it. What are you hoping to gain? You will only get more shots per charge. The AA S410 is a brilliant rifle and unless it is a seriously bad fit to you I would stick with it mate. I own a r10 and it's a awesome rifle by far my best rifle but only due to fit. Both the AA and BSA will out shoot it's owner in both calibres so accuracy isn't a problem mate. Stick a twink on both rifles and they are very quiet. Si Quote Link to post
andyz 30
I do beleve there were some issues with the first release of the R10, although I do believe these are fixed now. As Zini has said both rifles will out shoot there owner as they are both super accurate. There are loads of people that own these rifles that can give you first hand advise through their experiences. zini 1,939
That's 100% correct what Andy is saying there buddy. The r10 when first released (not the mark 2) were problem rifles and got a really bad reputation. Not the rifles fault, BSA's for releasing it to soon. The mark 2 is another kettle of fish though and works very well indeed, infact Malc Bernard better known as the Ghost Maker put a comment on his newest YouTube clip in response to a comment I made first about the r10 and him using it to come 12th out of 98 in the HFT Extreme series. He said that his as far as he remembers was the only r10 being used and it never let him down at all throughout when rifles 2 and 3 times the price were messing up at minus 6 and having major problems. The r10 though was still putting pellet on pellet and knocking the targets down with ease. That's got to account for something lads hasn't it? There will always be critics of the rifle, that's life but I know other lads on here who love their r10 as I do mine and wouldn't swop or sell it for the world. I would be happy to put mine against any sub 12 FP air rifle including a Airwolf for accuracy off a bench or bipod as I know that she would do herself proud. Danny R-10 16
Totally agree with what Si Says, I have an R-10 and a HW100, both fitted with Twink Mk2's both very good rifles. They are both .22 and never had any problems with either, having said that they are relitively new and my R-10 is an awsome piece of kit. ATB Danny Quote Link to post
