If dogs are raised as livestock and eaten then for me it's not the end of the world.

But how they are kept and how humain the way they are slaughtered bothers me very much.

like i said buddy i dont agree with it myself

chickens have been kept the same way for years over here

not comparing the value of a dog to a chicken personally but these orientals dont value a dog the way other countries do

i dont like the way the dogs are kept either but i wont go out my way to meddle in a foriegn countries culture

we have enough folks meddling with our own culture without getting involved in anothers

thats jmo

The animal skinned alive is a fox,not a dog,not that it makes any difference to me,its totally wrong.

Shame they arent cannibals, chinks like a good curry.

i thought it was a spitz? im not watching it again to find out though, i wouldnt be as bothered if they dispatched it quickly and as humanely as possible but to leave it to die slowly like that was disgusting. i just hope shock set in quickly for the sake of the dog/fox.

In Asia dogs are farmed like cattle. They are different to the dogs we keep. I am sure that dog being skinned if the same one turned out to be a set up by Animal Aid and they paid for it to be done. Nearly all the animal rights groups are registered as businesses not charities because thats all they are. I have not watched the video as I am a bit soft.

While living in Asia I ate dog on a number of occasions and knew the person doing the slaughtering and they were more respectful while doing it than I imagine they are in many slaughterhouses in this country. Given the choice I would have avoided eating dog however it would have been the end of my job had I disrespected my boss by not eating the food he offered me.

Fattyness and texture of lamb. Not much flavor but a cross between pork and lamb but the lamby taste is very slight.
