I have just joined this forum and am amazed at this thread.Bull x and collie x are lurchers.i was taught a long time ago You have long dogs ie two sighthound breeds crossed like deerhoundxgreyhound = longdog. Colliex greyhound = lurcher.same as bull x greyhound = lurcher.Sighthoundxsighthound = longdog ie coursing dog.bullx collie cross kelpie x airdale x = lurcher or if you like kerry blue xgreyhound.

Longdogs and lurchers are different same looking dogs just different skills

That's a ridiculous statement trying to single out Bull crosses as being the only breed to add something to the 'modern day' lurcher for running illegal quarry. What about Saluki's, Greyhounds etc?

So your trying to tell us that all we should be running with is Whippets?? as that's all you need for Rabbits.
