slag me off i dont care i will never by one see 2 many run. hard as nail but shit at running you mite as well by full pit do better job !

Coursing dogs being lost (or f****d as you so politely put it) because of adding bull blood to the mix, the coursing lads are not adding the blood or even using the off spring of such matings, they ar

:notworthy: your right lots lads get because they think they look good with them .

overated and lately people seem to think that every dog has to have bull in em to do stuff what bites back ? dont really get it tbh .

heard very good things about this x and see 1 run and it impress me ,do,nt think they are spoiling any coursing lines ,it might closer 2 home then you think all these well bred cousing stud dogs getting used with the bulls ,my opion is you don,t need bull in any breed 2 take stuff that bites back [preban] but my god it helps and thats the hole point of breeding these dogs together, 2 me these saluki all about money these days and very little geniue coursing lads out their its allway names

tbh i wouldnt run a bull x in the recent bull cross trend.

but whippets and coursing and track greys have been bull lined for years in a way to toughen them up and give them extra drive too.

a lad in cork lined bred bull into his grey,s in the late 70ies and had a great success with them in track and field.

by the pics iv seen recently of the dogs you woulndt think there was any bull in them but there was a hint in there.

iv seen some 1/4 bulls that look quite racey and ya only have to look at taffybulls saluki, bull grey to see that he looks the biz and that he looks like he could take a hare or 2.

collie crosses and weathon crosses are used alot in ireland with great success on fox.

and in this country where fox can be taken by dog i see more of the above cross that the half cross bull being used.

for the half crosses and 5/8 bulls that people put pics up then i wouldnt have one of them in my kennel but thats just my personal preferance.

each to there own.

think this thread was started to cause a row.Not everyone is interested in hares though. My current lurcher is the first one i have owned with bull in it.granted its very slight in its make up.in fact it looks more like a full greyhound and if it was still legal i have no doubt it would take a hare

Both my Bull crosses run fine slip the dog, agreed that my male Charlie isnt suited to Hares "IF" he was to chase one but thats against the law int it,but my bitch has bags of stamina and nails anything I put her to,from the same lines but you wouldn't think so to look at her. I do agree that alot dont look like they could run 100 yards but there are some good ones out there

I don't think many people bought them specifically as hare dogs pre ban, so why would it spell the end of the decent hare dog?

? because all the decent running dogs are getting ruined by people putting shitty bullx into its mix when theres no need what are only good for 1 thing ....

You obviously no nothing about Bull x's do you slip the dog! I take mine ferreting, they mark well, good with all live stock and run well, and will run on anything I put them too,.....what I would call an all rounder, might not be everybody's choice but to call them shitty shows how much you know.....which doesn't sound like much!

what a fking pointless thread, personaly i don't have a bullx or do i wish to have one as i would have no need, but each to their own i say, nearly everyday on here there is a thread put up such as THIS IS MY BULLX WHAT YOU THINK or SHOW US SOME PICS OF YOUR BULLX, gets a wee bit boring after a while, i used to come on here alot but not as much now, to much shite threads and my dogs better than yours bitching. rant over.
