Alrate youth ya intrested in buying a rate gud rifle and "proper" scope me. what's the rifle mate? it's like that (points to an underleaver beind me) me. do you no the make and moddle of the rifle and scope? err no, i'll bring it ya in if ya intrested. me. yes mate i'll have a look always intrested in rifles. ok its a good un youth. The chap reapears about ten minuets later. and passes me a rifle out a bin liner, oh dear whats this shead of s**t i'm thinking to my self as he passes me over a very porley painted black scrached up half rusty westlake db-4. upon it sits a nicko stirling 3-9-40 scope that at first glance is as batterd as the rifle, well i pull the rifle into my sholder to have a look through the scope. oh dear. me. well mate its a westlake db-4 but more to the point your scope is nakard, no its not. me. have a look through it pal the cross hairs are snaped away from the post in two places,one of the adjusment turrets is well more than maxed out and is moveing around about 2mm in it housing. ya but its still accuret!! me. i'm sorry mate but i strongly dissagree. why its still zeroed and very accuret! me, well its a west lake so was never "very accuret" and the cross hairs are snapped and will move every time you take a shot. pluss the adjustment are moving in the housing.. well its zeroed so why would you ever need to adjust it? me, well zeros get nocked out traveling,different pellets different zero ranges ect ect. so you wont give me £50 on it, me, no mate i'm affraid not (trying very hard not to burts out laughing) well i think you wrong and theres nothing wrong with it and it worth that all day. he then dissapears in a huf. this is the mentality of some people nowday,and the tat that they will try and tell you is good. must think i was born yesterday. still made me chuckel for the day it has. westlake badly painted black with a bolloxed scope £50. hahahahahaha atb Andy 1 Quote Link to post
