Alex Crawford1 1 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 I've got 1 mate he's a beauty does his job realy well he's half grey 1/4 deerhound 1/4 bull he's a speed demon lol he is a smooth coated one a havent been out wid him yet as he has a little slice cut on his leg and a dont wanna lame him for the weekend a have sprayed him with a bit of teramicen and his doing good a will try and get pics up but am no good on how to do this on here he hasnt got to bigger head but you can tell when he fills out his gonna be a powerhouse he jumps like a stag to a cant wait to fire him in to stuff to see what his actually like the lad who a got him off said he could fair old tango like so fingers crossed Quote Link to post

Shes turned into a good dog. good luck with yours. went out with him the other night and he caught a couple of rabbits he is nothing like my other dog when the rabbits go into the verges he smashes right into them like a fuking steamtrain the second rabbit ran through some tin sheets and he never even slowed up he just smashed right through them a was standing there thinking oh for fuks sake his gonna injure hisself carrying on like that a couldnt ask for much better he retrieves to about five yards away he jumops like a stag i dont need a lead when i take him for walks as he walks right behind me i think i havce got myself a real bargain at the price i paid he hasnt had the test i boyught him for yet but we will see do you think i should fire him in single handed on my next visit to ireland and see how he copes or get a nothe dog wid hjim i will try and get some pics up shortly Quote Link to post

Mine was hard going for training etc but started spending time with her on her own and she did come good at about 20months - I know some say they're a bit slower to mature? - like your's she walks by my side without lead, even when the others are mooching up ahead - very loyal bitch and remarkably gentle with people, glad I persevered with her.
