Hi all.

My dog is arriving on Monday, delivered by alice and the dog is coming from donnyc.

It will be a member of the family but im looking to take it bushing/ratting with a friend who has a bull cross thing.

Is there any essentials i need to know? How old would the dog need to be before i can take it on a rat?

Wheres the best place to look, by rivers and streems?

Will i need any equipment, smoker and stuff?

Also just the most simplest of questions...

What should i feed him? Raw meat?

Thanks !

If he's for bushings and ratting you need to break him to chickens and ferrets as soon as you can the earlier the better mate or your permission won't last long lol I try my terriers to rats or smiler quarry at 12 week old but that's just me some go some don't the only thing to remember is don't make it do anything it don't want to if it ain't interested take it straight out you can ruin good dogs that way I got one here that didn't even show intrreast till 7 month then she surprised me .. I feed mine dry food and scraps no raw meat in summer as it attracts flys . I don't like smokers to be honest mate and don't buy a mk2 rat attack coz there shite you want to get a young ferrit and bring them up together if you succeed in breaking him to them you will have some good sport all the best mate
