mateing a dog and bitch

bread a collie and a grey couldnt get dog 2 mate bitch again

 

at wat stage can u get a bitch checked 2 see if she has taken ?

 

would of liked 2 get her tied again it just wasnt possible

 

can a dog tell if hes already done his job ?

iv mated a few bitches jus the once and its worked for me

if the bitch and dog hav both produced before then they are fertile then chances r shell take

if u got her on right day, want wait til she 3 wks murrays in lurgan scan her tho

1 mating is enough, had 7pups from 1mating (pb collies)

One mating is fine, two is damn near a sure thing as long as you know what you are doin and you waited long enough and didnt go by the 7,7,7 rule.

One good tie mating is plenty mate, if the dog had lost interest when you tried a second time then the bitch had "gone off" which is she most likely took 1st mating and her season ended pretty quick.

I only ever mate my bitches once unless the dog is very close by or the first time i go i got the wrong time and they didn't mate.

 

 

forgot to say a vet can often tell by feel during the 4th week if they are pregnant. Best option is to have an ultrasound done anytime after 3 weeks post mating, scans often reveal how many pups as well, scan costs about 30 quid

Got my bitch serviced only took once stuck for half an hour ended up with 11 pups just depends is the sire you put till the bitch been breed with any other bitches???

Had a litter of 8 from a slip mating 1 tie is more than adiquite some dogs show little interest in a bitch if she isnt ready or is even as much as a day past it day 13 always worked for me and the lads i know.

Doubt that was to do with one mating, more the day it took place on. Bitches most fertiles days vary but as a rule 13 and 15 are the best, and usually get results. So next time perhaps take her a day later, remember sperm is still working up to 72 hours after Her mating. Good luck next time and try to get two matings on seperate days, not a fan of two matings in one day, I think all they offer is peice of mind rather than results, once He has blown his load he is like all us fella`s more interested in whats in the fridge or on telly
