fat man 4,741
Cox not haveing a go but IMO it's a question that could land a lot of people in the shit, all wounds should be seen by a vet full stop, this is an open forum......... That's ok if you know the vet and can trust them, took a bitch to vets a few year ago not in gud shape and was told to leave her that they had to put her on a drip. The next morning i phoned to inquire and was told my bitch was pts due to kidney failure resulting from the wound's she had taken. When i went to pick her up i was met by a load of questions as to how she came about her wounds and threatened with the ispca.I know they put her down on purpose but there was nothing i could do,never went to a vet since. I've a very good vet D, sorry about your bitch, i had the same with a bitch who was struggling with a litter, i took her to a known anti vet and when i picked her up no pups and no womb left in the bitch and not so much as a phone call to ask permission to take the womb away. In twenty seven years of digging i've only come across three vets that were understanding and agreed with hunting, the vet i use now can't understand why theres so much fuss, after all with all the fear of prosecution the terriers are suffering more becuase the treatment has gone underground and it's not always the best. Simoman 110
Clean with salt water, then diluted hibiscrub, savlon is also a usefull part of the first aid kit, it goes without saying anything serious requires specialist attention..... Quote Link to post
