Just let the dogs sort out who is boss then the snapping will stop. Just watch them to make sure it doesn't get too rough. It can take a few weeks before they get there.

If the dog jumps up at your wife then she should just turn her back and walk away. If it sees that it gets no attention jumping up it will stop.

everytime it jumps up stand on one of its back feet it will soon get the message and its worked for many a dog for me over the years, as for the rest of it soon sort themselves out i should imagine just a pup trying it on finding its place

i take it your wife is scared of the dog now

you should work on her confidence around the dog with her giving all the commands and you hanging back and only interviening when absolutely nessescary

the dog will soon see her as the alpha amd will soon settle down around her

as with the snapping at the other dog

as been said they will sort it themselves soon enough , sometimes not but you can always keep them seperate from each other

if your happy with the dog then i think you should work with your wife and her confidence around it before trying to rehome or swap for a dog that might intimidate your wife even more
