Some of the younger members of this forum might not be aware of the fact that at your granda's funeral, attended by many of his Shankill road friends, some of the nationalist lurcher men from North Belfast who may have felt unwelcome among so many protestant mourners while the country was still in turmoil, chose to line up on the hills above the house with their dogs to pay their respects. That's how much the game unites sporting men. thats the way it should be politics and religion should not come in to hunting . its good to hear storys and things about my granda , from time to time i bump in to some of his friends and people wich knew him throught lurchers and hunting , they always have a story to tell of days out hunting and the crack they used to have . . thanks for shareing that bolio Quote Link to post
