Excellent write up and pics WB  What did you have in your catty for ammo? Used calf cake on a few occasions to good affect, doesn't hurt and gives them something to eat.

hi AH

defeats the objective that,dont it!

he is trying to get them to leave!!lol

if you kat cake at em,they will stay there! hence not getting the shot he wants!!

regards

Davy

You can hit them on the arse to move them on or shoot cake against a trough, they soon learn to find the cake.I expect he knew what I meant,as he shoots from experience and not from a book. :tongue2:

LOL

Some nice size rats there Badger and it sounds like you had a good day out with your pal

Im not sure about shooting the cows on their butts with a catty to get them to move though buddy  .

Do that on any permission i have shot on before and i would of been quickly asked not to come back again by the farmer :bye: .

It sort of goes against what we try a portray in the sport of "protecting all live stock and boundaries"

Si The permission in question is my X Mrs so I am a little cheekey and get away with it as you quite rightly say not responsable :icon_redface: it was pellets of cake from the feeder so harmless however I feed these cattle when the farmers away keep an eye out on all areas of the farm recentley had a dissagreement with three young travelers over shooting phesants with an air gun but I womt back down to protect my permission.

For any Youngsters on newbeies cattying cow`s for a better shot big no no Thursday we are back and the solution is to take ply wood sheets to block off that side of the feeder
