bobcullen79 1,495
he digs with you & he keeps one as a pet? Not everyone kills for fun. I shoot crows, but if my daughter brought one in,Im pretty sure we`d end up nursing it or whatever. Own reasons and all that..... edited to say, nice pics Liam. skycat 6,173
People who are not true hunters, the sort who respect their quarry, are interested in its lifestyle, the way it behaves, lives etc, will never understand how someone could keep such an animal as a pet but also hunt it. I've reared baby rabbits before now, and used to keep very beautiful domesticated rabbits, but it never stopped me ferreting and lamping. I admire a fox's cunning, they are beautiful animals and very clever, but they are also pests: true hunters understand and appreciate the animal they are hunting, probably more so than someone who has no interest in the animal or the countryside. 2 Quote Link to post

moonlighter 1,163
My mate hand reared a fox cub and it even slept with his terrier as a cub and that terrier has worked and killed hundreds of foxes! It was more like a cat than a dog. Of I didn't see it with my own eyes I prob would not have believed it. Quote Link to post
