I have a sprocker bitch that does exactly the same thing. Everyone wants her till they find out her dirty, filthy habits :sick:

Vet told me it was just habit. I have 8 dogs but it only seems to be spaniels with this habit (the 2 springers would as well if they thought they'd get away with it)

Don't know mate. My dogs get bones, flesh and dried food regularly and the spaniels still have an inclination towards filthy habits. It's only the spaniels though?
