minion 29
There's a guy in Bilston has a cracking collie cross. It must be about 9 or 10 now but was a cracking looking dog. i got my first lurcher from him 13 years ago. Know a few of the dog lads from Bilston. Pretty small village so you get to know them. There is a guy in loanhead who keeps collie lines but I can't for the life of me remember his name. I don't actually know him but know of him. Quote Link to post
whin 463
sure it was collie and a touch bull terrier if my memory is [bANNED TEXT] , long before the bull crosses were built like tanks more athletic, type saw afew at the shows very eary ninties , handy dogs Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
I bought the dog pictured from a guy in Loanhead about 22yrs ago,he was my 1st lurcher and the deal was done in minutes,I can,t remember names etc but I do know the dam was a 1st x bull grey and the sire was a 3/4 collie grey. I seen the guys and there dugs at a couple of shows late ,s,there dogs were all very typey, mostly merles, because there was a few of them they might still be about the areas surrounding Loanhead.what I can say is the dug I got was a very fast powerful dug, wouldn,t mind another in the future if the line still exists, thanks for replies and if anyone has more info let me know, cheers Edited February 22, 2011 by KittleRox Quote Link to post
