Phil8282 8
You can use whatever you like mate, loads of people use their own home made formulas. WD40, Furniture Polish, 3 in 1, car veleting stuff. It's worth a try, but its safer to test in PCP's as you wont get "diesling" to such a great extent, but be warned, lubing pellets decreases friction, increasing velocity, so your ft/lbs will also increase, possibly by by 1/2 a ft/lb or more!! so be aware! rossi_j 99
I use that abbey stuff, VERY lightly by puting one or two drops on a rag then rolling the pellets round in it, you cant even tell they are lubed by looking, just slightly greasy by touch, external surfaces of pellets only. You prob want to try more than 5 as your shooting lubed pellets through a dry barrel, I would have thaught after about 20 or so, when both pellet and barrel are lubed you will get best results. Im not recomending it, just holding my hands up to using it .atb. .ste. Quote Link to post
