hily 380 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 When out last week the mk2 box packed up came home and checked if the warranty was still valid no its about 12years out of date so had alook at it today found wire snapped at battery connection so solderd new wires onto board and snap connecter but still no joy fiddled about a bit with batterys and collers then whent back to the battery connection and found that the solder had'nt took to the snap on cap so reheated and now its fine pleased i re checked it cos the next thing was to chuck it away can you tell i can't get out AND bored . TOMO 26,840 Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 What does a mk2 box look like mate? he actualy means the grey box,,, what most of us call a mk1,,,,,, however the mk1 box had about 5 upgrades , so there are grey mk1 boxes that when you take the cover off, say mk2 , mk3 ect. there is of course the new mk3 carrot shape,,, but a year or so befor its reelease there was a mk2 carrot shape,,,, but it was discontinued cos it was crap. hope thats not to confusing Quote Link to post
