Guest The Shaman
in answer to your question about chain break on or off, you should have the chain break on(so the chain doesnt spin as you pull start it) most saws wont let you start it without the chain breaked. if you try and start it with the chain spinning or drop start it you will FAIL on safety issues. done mine last november Thanks Mole Catcher - have you done the felling part as well? Guest JDF
done them a few years back,pa's for pesticides as well as a load of others.only known one person to fail the cs,that was a ballbag who worked with me 5 or 6 years ago put the chain on back to front and then did the same thing with the saftey trousers, halfwit. use them every day during the winter and never had a problem with any of the husky gear to be honest though the stihl is better made. ps well done on passing. Guest stella
Ditchy mate, leave any Husky stuff well alone. If you want a pair of saw trousers youve got too go for Sthil, But the HI-Flex variety, safest on the market but are just like a pair of jeans when on. Same advice as regards saws themselves, BUY STHIL. I earn my living with these machines so thats the angle im coming from same hear mate i ern my liveing ,with these stihls machines i got 021 ,039 farmboss, and stihl ms200t arborhist saw, clothes wise i wear the bib and brace light and comfy ,with phone and radio pocket ,you cant beat stihl?has for the chainbrake always have it on when starting, one slip with it of and you could lose a limb in no time ,i always leave my saws 5 to 10 mins to warm up before useing them are you a tree surgeon or woodcutter
