Recommended Posts

bad luck i had last year with ronnie , just seems to follow on this year--- reggie my pup a waited 4 years to get from my bitch , has damaged his spine ??? not looking good , but vet says it could just possibly be severe bruising as tests show hes feeling pain in his toes

so , i'm just hoping everything going to be ok , if not , poor little fkr , need to go to heaven

There was someone on here a few weeks ago whos dog hit a ditch badly and had a fit and f****d its back up. Last i heard it was on the mend. Cant remember who it was now. Would be interested to hear how it is.

Dennned from what you say it sounds promising mate, i hope the pup gets better. There tough little sods.

I hope your pup makes a full recovery mate.

2 years ago 2 of my pet dogs were playing and one ran full pelt into my staffy, she was only a small poodle and knocked herself out. Carried her inside and she seemed paralized and could only move her eyes, no response to toe pinch etc. Left her in a warm bed and 12 hours later she could lift her head, 24 hrs and she got to her feet. Took a good 2 weeks for her stiffness to go but she's 100% again after that

Hope yours has as good an outcome.

You'd be surprised how quickly they can bounce back, when mine was 12 weeks old my 46kg mastiff cross was running in the garden and the pup legged it into the front of him and he fell full weight on top of the pup, she squealed her head off and you couldn't even touch her shoulder without her screaching.

I took her to emergency vets who gave her pain killer and she went to sleep, she kept waking up squealing but then next day was walking about and day after was running, I rested her in cage for a week but she was perfectly fine.

Fingers crossed yours has same outcome!
