secretagentmole 1,701
The other half (as some of you know), got clobbered in her Skoda by some young pirrock in an Astra who then decided to leave the scene of the accident. It transpired that she broke her right wrist when he smacked into the front passenger wing at 15mph. She was plastered up as it was a clean break, but there appeared to be some nerve damage to the wrist and her trigger finger lost all sensation. She bought herself a Diana 280 T06 with some of her compensation and decided to give it a go yesterday. She found that by using her hand and arm to cock, load and fire the Diana she was getting sensation back to the finger. They were talking about operating, the wife reckons that a few more trips to the range will have the hand back to normal! So there you go, shooting helps you recover from road traffic accidents! secretagentmole 1,701
It does, lol, I sprinted out the car and got the berks registration number and her insurance company told her which company it was insured with. We actually had the insurance company agreeing it was his fault before he even admitted being in an accident. Turns out the pillocks father was a solicitor, when he found out what his son had done he went light, forced him to go down the police station and admit his crime. We did not know she was injured at the time, it was only when she tried lifting a chair that she found her wrist was giving real agony not just sprained! The company admitted liability though, he was leaving a car park and struck the wife's car as she was going down the road, so he was at fault. I have never known an insurance company pay before the driver admitted liability, a common sense judge and a common sense insurance company! Quote Link to post
