My first dog that hunted was 1/2 dalmatian x lab x pretty racey, got him when i was 14 and now he is 14 and slowing down.

first proper bred running dog is my 9 an half week old double cross 3/4 stag 1/4 grey.

Mine was a terrier that i was told was saff x jrt but im sure had Lakeland in him, that was when i was about 13, used to use him for ratting and bushing rabbits with my mates had a nice little pack between us jrt, mongrel and two lurchers an airdale/greyhound and a whippet/greyhound. Used to be ratting every night after school and rabbiting from morning till night at the weekends. Those were the days

my first dog was a jack russel when i was 7,it was only good for marking rats it wouldnt kill owt nd had a knack of finding birds nest on floor,it was killed when i was 10 years old :cry: the first lurcher i saw was a sandy norfolk type,nd use to follow me on walks hunting at 12 years old that dog could catch hares "come on luke" it would jump wall to come with me :laugh: used to get done for taking it out coursing off the owner if he caught me,things you do as a kid,,
