DogMagic 461
Lots of locks, lots of camaras, lots of security lighting and lots of broken glass set in cement on top of all boundary walls. Kennels and runs............lots of locks again. Big angry guard dog running free inside the yard and a shotgun in case anyone dont get the hint! Lol! 2 Quote Link to post
Chid 6,582
best security is dont put a dog in your kennels ... if someone wants one enough they will get past all youve got .... or they will do the simple thing that ive known happen and just take the dog off you using force if need be while your walking it... and i do know someone who this happened to, wasnt a lurcher but a staffie... its a sad way to live constantly thinking are your dogs safe in the kennels... camaras, alarms and a gaurd dog will give you enough time to get down to your kennels if your in but what happens when your out? 2 Quote Link to post
scalesntails 118
I keep mine inside as if they were in kennels I would be out checking every 2 mins to see if they had been nicked. They are with me all day everyday except at night they stay downstairs or stay with the wife if I go fishing. Quote Link to post
chartpolski 24,163
The unfortunate fact is... if some lowlife scumbag wants to steal your dog....... he WILL !! There is nothing you can do to stop it !! The stupid laws today stop you from taking what would be sensible precautions a few years ago ! If you DO stop the lowlife, you will probably be charged with something and get a worse sentance thasn the scumbag !! Just make it as difficult as possible for them, and if you realy love your dogs, be prepared to do something that the "law" will prosecute you for !!! Cheers. 3 Quote Link to post
