hunting mad 147
rocky 1 to answer your question in my opinion it depends on the selection in breeding in both crosses. I have seen 3/8 bulls that are too heavy and slow for some game ive also seen some that have no trouble getting on. I think if your going for a more allround dog you have a better chance picking the 3/8 bull 5/8 bull i think you will gain more drive and gameness and if bred right sufficent pace and stamina, i think both crosses have advantages over the other. but as we see there's alot of shit in both crosses being passed about. BULLRUNNER 7
Agree with Hunting mad, some of the Bull x's you see dont look like they could run 100 yards! It is all in the breeding and depending what your wanting out of a dog,I have been Lucky with mine Charlie is a big Dog but he is an all rounder and I take him mooching around for miles, good with ferrets, marking and all livestock. My other bull x Lady is alot racier than him to the point she doesn't look as bullish as him and she's out of the same lines. Quote Link to post
kevin kiely 66
i think with the 5/8 bull you would be limited in what you can do Quote Link to post
rocky1 942
Spot on hunting mad! now was 2 hard Quote Link to post
baldockbanks courser 598
just dont understand why any lurcher man would purpouslie breed this cross its not far from a pitball hardlie a running dog. all they are is drawers and a saburu fox dog. a good 3/8 bull 5/8 greyhound will be plenty game enougth to do both jobs and have more speed to make it versatile. once that long legged bit ball dog gets marked hell be a liability and you and him will both get took for dog fighting by mistake. jimmy100 48
Have you ever seen one bred this way courser?? As Ive seen a few and id say your wrong there! Quote Link to post
staffs riffraff 1,068
i think with the 5/8 bull you would be limited in what you can do only seen one run and that certainly wasnt limited in what it could do Quote Link to post
hunting mad 147
Courser you could'nt be more wrong, then again maybe you have'nt seen a good one. As for the pitball as you wrote there illegal and any true dogman would'nt come out with such s**t. P.S take an ENGLISH class Quote Link to post

As for the pitball as you wrote there illegal and any true dogman would'nt come out with such s**t. P.S take an ENGLISH class oh im sorry I forgot all bull crosses are breed using staffs sorry my mistake. This cross looks like a long legged bull terreir to some which could fall into the "pit ball type bracket" which yes is ileggal in this country whether a pit ball or not. could you give this cross a 200yard start and expect it to pull to its quarry? similar speed to a lab id say. No I cant spell what about go f*c* your grandmother. can you understand that? why get personal I only commented on a dog. Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
courser people dont breed these dogs for long slips if you want a dog for longs slips over rough terain then you would chose a different cross i personally wouldnt have one of these but if these dogs make there owners happy whats the problem ? BULLRUNNER 7
Pit bulls maybe illegal but this doesnt mean there arent plenty about! And they do get used for breeding by some. Whatever the breeding of the dog and for whatever reason its breed aslong as the owners happy thats all that matters Quote Link to post
