This is what I did - 243 as I am mainly shooting fox, with occasional deer. 17hmr because I could push the range a little more on rabbits and crows etc. It's a good combo to start out with, the truth is that there isn't a single rifle that will do it all. The .243 was the easy winner on its own, but counting all the .220 CFs together, that's Hornet, .222, .223, .22-250, and .220 Swift, they just pipped the .243. The rimmies were a poor third.
