Joe67 239 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 I done some ferreting when i was a kid with my uncle and enjoyed it,am now looking to get a couple ferrets/hut etc and get them working most weekends if am not fishing My uncle is now dead so cant ask him for any advice,so looking for some advice/hints and tips getting started.Any help is appreciated,cheers Quote Link to post

Unless you want to risk losing your ferret, the collar and locator are an important piece of kit. However, the price of a new locator and 2 collars will set you back about £200. Quote Link to post

From what i have read he is the man for purse nets at a sensible price Try your local agricultural market for ferrets should be plenty of kits around soon. I dropped on two mark 1 locators three collars and loads of nets at our nearest market. Have a chat with anybody who is selling ferrets or looks like their into hunting.you will be supprised what can come from it.
