Gaz_1989 9,539
Ducky Poo - I think there are still some very good whippets about and on here. OP - I would consider looking for something worker x worker bred doing what you want your dog to do. Hancocks have bred some good dogs but also some shit. Granted, all litters can throw shit pups. However i reckon the percentage of dogs that turn out shit from hancocks is much greater than that of worker x worker breeding. Obviously this could never be proven but just my view on things. JPTfellterrier 65
for your needs and land...a well bred colliexgrey would do you perfect . My old dog was a colliexgrey and my current dog is colliexgreyxbullxgrey and for rabbits (although they are not all like this) is extremley hard mouthed. I colliexgrey can (in some cases, although i wouldnt know ) can take somthing a little bigger is you desire Best of luck Edited February 20, 2011 by JPTfellterrier Quote Link to post

hickymick 37
you can get a lurcher whipet x game nd working stock or any lurcher x pup working stock for£100 or less in most adds, try getting a whippet for that price, most whippets are too skinny nd cost to much for what they are; a bit faster than a lurcher, but will cost you more in vet bills,in my veiw,, how fast do you need to catch a rabbit nd at what price?.am sure you can ask for a good working line of lurcher close to you on here, leave the whippets to the track men who can pay top price for them, atb mick Quote Link to post
