JoeD 24
After looking on Cabelas I saw a gun rack that I like the look of http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Gun-Storage/Gun-Cabinets-Racks|/pc/104792580/c/104730480/sc/104367780/Cabelas-Classic-Gun-Rack/733574.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fshooting-gun-storage-gun-cabinets-racks%2F_%2FN-1100212%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104367780%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253Bcat104792580%253Bcat104730480&WTz_l=SBC%3Bcat104792580%3Bcat104730480%3Bcat104367780 Just wondered if you can get this style of gun storage in the UK that meets the safety requirements? And if so, where? Thanks, Joe Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
The main problem would be having the firearms on view. The whole idea of the gun safe is to prevent an opportunist from getting his hands on them. There is very little that will deter or deflect a determined attack, but if they don't know where the guns are, then they are less likely to break in in the first place. You might get away with it for shotguns, but I can't see the FEO allowing it for section 1 firearms. Quote Link to post
dadioles 68
Not a chance unless its for an air rifle or antique. No FEO would allow it. Quote Link to post
HunterBoyTellEm 0
shotguns/rifles need to be away and out of sight. Air rifles as well soon! Quote Link to post
The one 8,477
As said we are not as liberal as the americans with our gun laws Quote Link to post

danebrewer10 6
I'm pretty sure you can, perhaps not exactly that soert of thing, but there's a company that advaerises in the back of magazines (I can't find their ad ATM) that does glass fronted and antique style gun cabinets.... if I see the ad I'll try and remember to post a follow up post...
