FEW HOURS OUT

Me again, i hope your not getting sick of my write ups boys, but im afraid ive got another one Me and adam (smoggyadam) decided on a trip to one of my permissions as adam still hasnt taken any bunnies with his new ultra, so i took him to a place he'd definatly get his first blood, picked him up from his house and made our way to the permission, Things were looking good as we drove round scanning for rabbits, and there were plenty out playing, adam took the first with a nice 25 yarder out of the passenger seat of the car, i stone dead bunny was the result we went to pick it up and noticed the pellet had struck slightly low and forward, still a clean kill but we made a few adjustments to the scope. The next bunny was on my side of the car so adam passed me the ultra (id left the S10 at home) and i took aim, a bunny of 20 yards was soon doing a lovely flip before going still, 2 in the bag, the next rabbit was also on my side so i took the shot on a 15 yarder resulting in number 3 in the bag 2-1 to millsy haha Again the next rabbit was on my side and again i took a nice 25 yarder, and he joined the party of bunnies in the boot of my car 3-1 to millsy Number 5 presented itself at 15 yards and this one was on adams side of the car, he quickly dispatched it with a clinical head shot 3-2 to millsy Adam soon leveled the score with a lovely 35 yarder 3-3 haha But the last chance of the night fell to me, a 30 yarder sat up on his hind legs, thwack and he went down, its getting on and we decide to call it a night, the final score 4-3 to me but in the end it could of went either way, and im must admit adams ultra is growing on me, a very accurate gun, a lot different from my S10 but does the job just the same i just prefer the better stopping power you seem to get from the .22. What a good night you two had, very nice shooting and shot placment, and a good bag too.

Its nice to see the student is giving the Master a run for his money

 

I detect a little envy in your post regarding Adams ULTRA Millsy?

When he puts her new crown on, you will be in awe

Great write up and pics Millsy (whaddya mean "getting tired" of your write-ups?? NONESENSE!! Keep em coming!) Nothing like getting a new rifle "Blooded"!

 

Seems all my rabbits have headed up North to your way or, down South where Si and Davy are shooting. Nothing doing much here right now.

Thanks boys was a good night, and adams ultra is now tried and tested and is a quality tool for dispatcing rabbits

 

I thought you liked loads of pictures ste!!! Ill leave the camera at home next time shall i???? lol

 

I wouldnt be tempted to part with the S10 just yet bill lad
