The two main commercial photo editing programs are Photoshop and Light Room , but as Kay has said there are free programs, Gimp is one that's worth looking at

I downloaded gimp & i couldnt make head nor tail of it .. even thats way over my head

Photoshop Elements is good for the price. Free software like Gimp or Picassa will give you basic editing tools along with a few effects filters and may be adequate for your needs.

Totally agree, I used elements 5 right up till this year, changed to CS4 just quite recently

Your photo editing software is possibly the most important piece of kit you will have, so choose it wisely, as its already been said, if your only doing basic editing for the computer, there are many that will do, if your doing more, competition photos etc, you may need a little more

and sheeesh the tutorials lol............

hi' i'm increadabley good, did you absolutly love my voise...just like me..'' euwwww......

if your going to make vidio's you'll have to adapt, if its for the states the more anoying the better you are....lmao twats.

gimps open sourse so you can play with the programming if you like, the only thing it doesnt have is the alfa gamma whatsit..makes the image shinier/brighter.

worth a look but use a better pc, can be slow and very anying on an old pc.
