19powell90 89
I own an s410 classic and think its a great rifle. I am looking to find out how many useable shots per fill you get out of the carbine model. if i fill to 165-170 bar i get 30-40 good useable shots out of my classic. So i am just wondering what you fill to and how many decent shots you get? The calibre im interested in is .177 Atb Scott Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
I thought the recommended fill was 190? I know they're tested to much higher, but from what I've been told 190 is about the top of the "sweet spot". Davy will be along in a mo to set me right! Quote Link to post

19powell90 89
[ He means good shots that dont vary too much in fps. Ye he will get 60 but there will be a bigger power curve. I get shots but i only use around 30-40 after a 165 bar fill because i know that each shot will be similar therefore reducing the risk of flyers especially when out in the field. davyt63 1,845
hi buddy carbine version at 12ft/lbs maximum you get 60 in .177 & in .22 at a fill of 190bar classic version at 12ft/lbs maximum you get 90 in .177 & 100 in .22 at a fill of 190bar i fill to 170 and i get about 30/40 sweet point shots! it may be a bit more since i polished my hammer& rail.but to tell you the truth i dont really count em when i am out in the field as you can appreciate you dont get that many shots at your quarry. but i shall sit down a do a test for you buddy,at what range would you like it to be at? regards Davy Quote Link to post

I base my classic on having 30 good shots, i know it will do more but im happy with that, so if the carbine will do 30 thats good enough for me as i might get it reg'd in the future anyway. Buster321c 1,010
I have the S410 in .177 . I fill to 210 and get 110 shots per fill . My gun has been regulated , this is why i can fillit to 210 , and also why the shot count is as high as it is . Buster . Quote Link to post
