Sighthound 49 Posted February 25, 2011 Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 Its not the air temperature that matters its the soil temperature. it takes a while for the soil to warm up. Also if they do sprout then they will be above the soil early and vulnerable to frost. cheers for replies im going to leave them and take a chance,it is very warm down here im on the devon /cornwall border its a south facing plot so hopfully they wont all die.
