J Darcy 5,871
i actualy ment just deer,,, i new about wallabies in a few difrent locations, didnt know about prarie dogs mind,,,,, Ah....Sorry Tomo old chap. I got the wrong end of the stick. As far as i am aware theres only the six species of deer that are breeding in this country in the wild. Reindeer in the cairngorms are feral. There has been a few escapee's over the years and also deliberate releases but only really the six species as far as i am aware, out of those six only two are indigenous i believe. artic 595
is it pere davids mate? or some other kind? Yes in the pictures and wild. Many have escaped throughout the years, and some have been captured again. There is no exact figure acording to the duke when I last spoke to him. Deer from other countires have escaped too and are in this area, It's just spotting them. Have some of the PD's managed a break out Artic? Never seen one in the wild before. Good pics. Yes JD, and in July 2010 I saw three in different locations at different times all within 4 miles of the Abbey. As for breeding, I cannot answer that. Who knows........... Quote Link to post
