I read eamons post and agree. I am thinking of working a paterdale I am getting in march she is two years and has gone to ground. What kind of gear would I need and who has made there own ie; shovels picks stakes and tie outs. lets see some picks.

best bit of kit ive got is a mini bullnose great for urban digging sold by bellman for £12 bouht from toolstation.com for £4.45 :yes:

Im just after spitting out my drink with the laughter looking at this reply. If i have ever seen an over reaction to a simple bit of advice, Its hilarious. What an angry character.

forget the tools and the terriers mate, the most important thing you need is experiance, and the only way to get that is to do a few seasons with someone who knows the crack. then you wont have to ask silly questions like what tools youl need because youl already know. theres more to it than just going out and digging holes, and youl never learn it on here!!!
