Well for an hour out yesterday was one hell of a hour , my 8 year old son is mad keen on being out with the dogs and asks all the time to come i told him last week i would take him at the weekend so friday night before he went to bed i went through to the kitchen and saw his wellies and waterproofs sat at the door so he still wanted to go i had a lot to do on saturday as i was going to a wedding and as usual had left everthing until the last minute so i told him i would take him to one wood check the holes in it and that would have to be that ,so saturday morning comes get everything in the motor and head to the place on the way he is asking have you got the collar lol yes nets yes two shovels? i say i only need one to which he replies ok we will just share it lol ,anyway i go straight to a place that i have had a fare bit of luck at and as we arrive i can see the leaves have been pulled back at two or three holes pretty good sign to start with walks over with my old black bitch and she,s doing her usual clawing the ground and whimpering whilst looking up at me so theres a fox in without a doubt i tie the dogs up back away from the holes lay all the nets and checked there was no new or holes covered by leaves everything ws fine so i collar up my b+t bitch get the shot gun out the case and lay it on the slip ready and enter the bitch within seconds a fox hits the net the net gets stuck on a root and away foxy goes bugger but hey i,m a pro at things going wrong i,m used with it i relay that net and snap the root of lol and let the bitch in again a little bumping and another fox hits the same net this time pursing so i shot the fox and yip i did it again let the old black bitch of for a rag and she totally ignored the fox and dived straight into the hole so my lad grabs the b+T bitch i throw another net down and within a couple of minutes another fox hits a net further over with the black bitch right on its tail my lad sticks her back on the couples while i shot the fox i said to my son two foxes what do you think of that then he said dad look at jill [ the black bitch ] i looked over and she was straining towards one of the holes tail going and that whimper that says theres a fox in here but i had two the farmer would be chuffed me and my lad where chuffed so i said to him we will call it a day so lifted the nets and all my gear i un tied the dogs and walked over to the hole the bitch was marking and i would bet my house there was another fox in there so like the title say got 2 should have been three but could have been four
