feck me you cant win on this sitei was reading a post where someone was getting slaughtered because his kennel wasnt up to scratch and they were giving him a slating now a newbie is asking about welfare of his running dog and instead of advice he is getting slaughtered for being a softiefor caring abouthis dog and yes mate you ban get protectors for the wrists used them a few times when coursing in the stubble at start of season couple of quid for a pair stops the dew claws and wrists being ripped and or cut .

if youre worried about youre dog scratching itself on brambles you might want to consider another hobby other than running a dog as every time you slip youre dog could possibly be the last,working dog

I think you where just unlucky with the rip but I wouldn"t think it was done by brambles and as has been said when working dogs its a chance you take.

You may be lucky and never get another injury who knows but don"t be put off keep getting out there and enjoy the good times.

Thanks to everyone that Pm'd me especially the guy that gave me the new permission. Also thank you to everyone that could be bothered to reply properly. To everyone else :haha: :haha: :haha: love you too. Surprised that none of the people taking the piss could be bothered to say why its bad. Turns out these are used quite often in coursing.
