Hi All

Just a quick update with my start in the world of air rifles lol :icon_redface: :icon_redface: :icon_redface:

my first buy was the air arms s400 c right handed

then finding out that i need a left handed rifle :icon_redface: :icon_redface: :icon_redface:

i tried to get a swap no takers so i tried my local gun shop again no luck

but under the current financal climet not suprised and the next phone call

to another gun shop sucsess was as to take the rifle along and have a chat

i took the hr drive from Dover to Welling to John Forsey Gun Shop and meet up with

Phil Jackson i told him my problem and after taking the time to show me some of the many things on offer

and putting me right on a good few things i did not know we decided on a BSA Ultra Multi Shot

and sorted out the details and the deal was made, the man and the other staff in the shop were a plesure

to speek to and the advice fantastic cant praise them enough .:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

did not belive what some people say about you will know the right rifle

when you hold it but i do now sorry have gone on a bit but know i will be busting a gut to

get my first permission so i can use it now.

Nice one, Ray

That's the thing about guns, it's all well and good folks saying one gun's better than the next but it's a very personal thing and if it doesn't 'feel' right, it's very hard to gell with that particular gun and you'll never get the best from it. Just stick to a quality make and you'll be fine.

Good luck with finding your first permission, mate.

Cheers.

I went for a look around for some were to start setting up the BSA ULTRA

scopes ,and every thing, any way was out and came across a man doing some work

on his gates to what appeared to be an old yard , any way while talking to him and

giving him a hand lifting his new gate on i ask if he knew of some where i could

set up my rifle he said yes come with me any we walked into his yard that then opened

out onto some paddocks and a little bit of scrub land and a small wooded area

he said help your self shoot what you can your doing me a faviour,

and he also said he would see if he could get me some permission from the land owners

around him Result, keep me fingers crossed
