Rob4490 0
Surely the police would allow the gun to be taken to a gunsmith so it could be put back to being under strength, furthermore if it was only over by a fraction that could be put down to pellet variance? I don't think the police would have any problem confirming that somebody was legal rather than him to go out fire it then get done that way! Norfolk police are quite good about that sort of thing, they used to offer free checks and advice on air rifles, working with the shooters rather than against them! Mole.... Please.... If you're not sure about what you're saying to folks with your 'advice', keep it to yourself That's probably the single worst bit of 'advice' I've ever seen given out on here. The police WILL!!!! confiscate the lads gun and he WILL!!!! get into shit loads of grief for owning an illegal firearm. Rob.... You've got my number and I have a chronograph. Give me a ring and I'll do it for you. ok i will give you a ring over weekend your only ten mins away cheers Cheers. Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
The Combro are ok, just make sure you line them up properly before pulling the trigger. Number of times I've seen people shoot them off the end of their own rifles. It'd be funny if it wasn't so expensive! I would keep a lookout on eBay for one of the "chrony" chronographs. They often come up at not much more than the combro's, and they are a far better piece of kit. The longer base allows for more accurate speed measurement, and they are upgradable over time to a fully functional, PC connective chrono. Just looked on eBay, and there are a few F1's on there. Ok, a lot more expensive than they were a few months ago when I got mine, but still well worth the money for a professional bit of kit! 1 Quote Link to post
