Ideation 8,216
any suggestions on the best breed of dog for lamping a few rabbits many thanks Your mum? Ideation u r a sad man, always something smart to say ye dickhead Me, smart? Cheers matey. But come on. There is no 'best' breed of dog for anything, especially not hunting rabbits. It's like asking what the best car is? But heres a short answer just for you, the 'best' dog that you can buy for hunting rabbits would be a dog that has been well reared, born from a line of dogs on both sides that do that job to a high standard on the kind of land and in the kind of conditions that you wish your dog to perform. The rest is fairly subjective. That better sweet cheeks? Quote Link to post

For a start I use Scotchguard to keep her as white as that after a nights hard graft, She will take more than sitters and usually just lies on them till I pick up as most of the rabbits are bigger than her so she can`t retrieve. Another tip is not to listen to anyone on here on a Friday night bud Quote Link to post

HAMMERDAN 25
He can also retrieve the kill himself on all fours using his mouth, you know how it is lads, after the 200th time, your back starts to cave, and knees get itchy.. If he's any good and brings back live to hand il employ him, 4 custard creams and a jaffa cake a fortnight, more than generous imo. Pm me gingerboy if intersted. Quote Link to post
