slow day but got better !!

well me al sky and 4 stinkers away the day, got there aboot 9ish decide to do a loaning which was wet and muddy

first sets with the long net and nowt in next few the same ,then decide to only put a few nets on and give the dog a run rabbit bolts my side and dog on als side a while later nowt happening then out with the dicso carrot on als side and find her 2ft down so al digs down and becomes a man and puts hand down and pulls rabbit out next few nowt in then a 5 holer put the poley down that was acting strange a fortnite ago bang one in the net then another bolts and decides to got back in but dog got hold of it shes back to her old self next set another 1 same with the next then 3 holer in middle of the field two poleys in then bang 2 rapid next two sets usaly hold a rabbit or two but nowt the day , finished there .away to another bit first set nowt then just put ferret down no nets give the dog a run but bunny bolts on als side dog with me eagle eyed al watches it going into the first set next set get 1 then onwards ten holer ferrets in bang bunny out then another good big healthy rabbits then all goes quite disco carrot out find them dig down put my hand down and theres wet grass and i pull it out and theres 4 young in it dead and cold ferrets had had a wee munch

the auld fella didny have to struggle to kill these

next set get another two though i might have to swim one of them had a neck which was at least 3 inches around

the dog has started to finaly take intrest in the holes and is kind of marking but have to watch her closley marked six sets and got rabbits out of five of them next set rabbit bolts as we had no nets on and runs into last set we had just done but we had left nets on so got it backnetted , dog marks next two sets get 2 out of one and 1 out of the other another in but have a dig but cant find it about 3.5 ft deep with three tunnels so head home nearly dark last set we did

desperate al wants to do the first set again so we net up few mins later bunny bolts so we take nets of then ferret goes back inkeep seing its arse at a hole and then look down hear a squeal then a fecking rabbit bolts must of went in while we were doing other sets so ended up with 17 or 21 for the day a few had various sized young in them the end is near cheers auld yin ;)your getting there will have to get you on the weights next season so you can kill them all by yourself couldnt resist

Blimey that's wet auld one only marble sized ones in a rabbit I gutsed today and pea sized in the others out of the ten we had but glad to be out

aye not a bad day out george,skye definetly starting to mark holes just needs to catch any runners and she will be spot on.Give me a text if you want to go out on tuesday.Oh and ask mandy if she will keep me some of her rabbit stew,later mate.

they were lying in water soaked bed so either dyed or drowned but they were stone cold and the water was cold on the fingers when i pulled them out
