I use a Hill walking site, and it just as bad on that. Folks offering to fight other people, iv'e climbed better mountains than you, you use a crap rucksac, blah, blah, blah. I try and stay out of it all, although it's hard when your on the receiving end of it. What i can't understand is, why can't people just accept what other posters say at face value and not get wound up by it. Sometimes the joke/banter is so obviously a pi** take, but they still rise to it. I'm fairly new on this site, but iv'e already worked out who some of these people are. You don't need a golden hand shake offering some false security to join... BUT you do get loads of people posting absolute shite and mental cases, at least theres plenty of variety and the action moves fast...
