rescue greyhounds

Recommended Posts

I never let my greys off a lead either, only at the track.although she could prob walk them a bit more.however bit cheeky telling her how far to walk her dogs lol

better getting a walk round the block and being opver fed than hanging from a bridge with a rope round thier necks.or getting kicked from pillar to post.

Straight question kfb says these 2 rescue greyhounds are 4yr and 18month  What age do you put them on the track? If that is where they were rescued from

I am certain you walk yours enough. My issue is more with other people taking on the dogs and them not having a life. I am a lazy c**t but I enjoy getting out and having a change of scenery once or twice a week so I imagine dogs do to.

I agree dogs do need to go out .. but i think the appeal for a lot of folks with greyhounds is they generally adapt well to life in a home after being kenneled .. they tend to have a very sweet disposition & for anyone who isnt particularly good in a morning maybe because there elderly greys can just be let on the garden for a wee & they will wait a little while for there walk without being a pest or hyper ..

In my opinion they have more good points than bad & its the only breed of dog i will ever own as long as i am physically capable of looking after one
