Hi there my mate is thinking of getting a mk2 collar just woundered if that will work with the mk3 box that i have, just so he doesnt have to waste money on a box when i already have a box.

Yes mate the transmitters work exactly the same. There nicer collars compared to the magnetic ones as they are better profiled to the ferrets neck.

no mate the mk3 boxes only pick up mk3 collars but the mk1 boxes will pick up mk3 collars if i was you i would stay well clear of any thing to do with mk2 there rubbish

confused now as one says yes and other says no lol. Do the mk2 collars woek with mk3 box?

what do the mk 2 collars look like as have never seen 1 only seen the mk1s mk3s the flatter ones that click together wich i thought werent the best and the best ones the mk3m,s

The mk2 are micro collars like mk1 smaller batteries.The mk1 box will pick up mk1/2/3 but mk3 box will only pick up the mk3 collar.Hope this helps P1

didnt realise the micro collars were the mk 2 ones so i have now got mk 1 /2 /3 collars

so the mk1 boxes were the old grey square ones the mk3s the orange or graphite grey disco carrot shaped ones so what did the mk2 ones look like and which collar did they come with

Aye mate just realised what your getting at the collar i have here must be an early mk3 not a mk2. yes its a clip together on the locator and collars i brought was a mk3m didn't realise there was a mk3 and a mk3m I'm assuming the M stands for magnetic then.

mk2 box is exactly same looking as the mk3 box
