Fat-Ferret 857
I have done a bit of ratting with ferrets recently, and they haven't come off any worse than when rabbiting...But maybe they've just been lucky. 3 Quote Link to post

martnmagik 68
i have worked ferrets to rats in the past and soon decided it wasnt for me. as said your ferrets can and will get smashed to bits or even killed especially if they find a female with young, also i found that they was never the same to handle after they became agressive to the point where i couldnt handle them. this may not be the case for all ferrets but just my experiences. atb mart Quote Link to post
The one 8,469
Id sooner trap them ,or get a mate in with smoker and terriers my ferrets are too good grafters to risk them . 2 Quote Link to post
Irishmac 5
Ferrst tend to get too badly damaged or worst. And besides the terriers (I assume you want them dead after they bolt)have to be 110% safe with ferrst as well. Smokers the job, or if you are in hard no poures ground, flood the wee f*****s out.
