Montana 0
Does anyone have instructions on a manual lure machine? Also, anyone ever seen this type of set up run in a continuous loop? Quote Link to post

heart of wales 19
I seen one about Twenty Years ago, down in Tenby use to be a racing club I use to go to,it was a bike frame string wrapped around the wheel withought the tyre, what propelled it was the pedals and chain, and the system was about four foot in the air, this went down the line to a free running wheel.Worked well to from what I can remember. Fabapocalypse 35
The Terrier Racing Roadshow used to run a manual, hand-pedalled large bike wheel set up on a continuous loop using plastic pylons to carry the "top" strand of cord above the dogs and the bike wheel behind the traps at the start - but they were running terriers only, competitively (I think they used to run the terrier racing championship at Chatsworth?) and doing short-distance arena displays with "run what you brung" at shows, I'm not sure how that would translate to longer distances and taller dogs!
