SeanTheHawker 0
headed out last night, was reading -1 in the car, so knew it wasnt going to be the best. got to the farm, and 1st feild only produced one rabbit that was at cover and went it before i could even get to a slippable distance. 2nd field was empty! next field there was a rabbit a good bit out, put ran to soon, got a decent flight at it anyway, but got to the end of the beam, and rolf missed. then seen 2 foxes run into the bottom of the feild! so i knew the next field would be useless, but had a look, and seen a rabbit a good 50 yards from cover, already pinned its ears back before i had got close, so thought i would be worth it. climbed the gate, making lots of noise lol, and got up to it. got within 20 feet of it. first squatter since before christmas. then stamped my foot, it was off! and so was rolf. didnt get too far before he had it. a little but of a jocky ride and managed to secure it. fed him up and headed home at that. 15 minutes hunting, but wouldnt be worth going for more lol. Fletcher 0
Well done Sean, hows your dad? Havn't been lamping for ages, I've decided my grounds too lumpy for lamping, he will have a rabbit on the lamp by the end of the season, hopefully. Quote Link to post

Fletcher 0
I must get out on the lamp some more, but if I'd rather get out in day light that way i don't to fall over so much or walk into barbed wire fences. Quote Link to post
