Col_c88 41
i understand its good to occasionally give the ferrets a raw egg? is that each... do i crack it put it in a bowl or something or will they manage on there own thanks oh yea, also, how long will a rabbit last 2 ferrets, my mate said he puts a rabbit in every 2-3 days but i can imagine they go through one a bit quicker than that, unless he means he puts other things in there instead during the other days? proper22 5
Yes Ferrets love egg when i occaasionally feed it them i crack it and put it in their feed bowl ...and personally i would also say that heaving 1 rabbit a the hutch with two ferrets would be fine to last for 2-3 days on its own. scothunter 12,609
Only give mine the yolk,as one said already can cause alepecia.also the white holds a bit of bacteria.not knocking anyone who does feed the whole egg.i just dont do it.why take the risk is my motto. Quote Link to post
2bob 9
And scrambled egg I have been told they love that. i'll agree with that i give mine scrambled egg now an again. as for raw eggs they wont do them any harm my father kept pigeons years ago an i used to give there eggs to the ferrets.. an you'll be allright to leave a rabbit in there for 2 or 3 days in cold weather just be a bit careful as the weather gets warmer Quote Link to post
